Eugh... finally back home again after 3 nights being in the hospital. Why ? My dear little Angel was pretty sick. She had high temperature for couple of days which I thought was from her recently out teeth but it was not settling down at all even after couple of paracetamol which usually work like a charmed. This time it wasn't..... so on Sunday at 1:30 Am her temperature was rising really high and she was niggly - so I tried to convince her again to go the doctor which she was reluctant to do so earlier... perhaps because she can't take the pain anymore she agreed to come with me to the doctor. The hospital was on 24 Hr service - my brother took me there - so we got there and the Doctor in charge in ER check her out then she suggesting blood sample ! I was alarmed and I asked why ? The doctor said that Angel might just have contracted herself with typhoid :shock: - Oh My God , what have I done to my Angel ??

The result came back positive that she does have the virus in her and also her throat was infected .... I can't believe I didn't notice this !! I am a stupid mother !! :cry: - The doctor suggested that Angel should be take in to care in hospital for few days and antibiotic would be given. Oh Man !!! That was so crappy knowing my daughter that sick and I didn't know it...

So we took her in and settle her down in her room followed by the painful infusion - the damn needle in her arms drive me nuts !! Because she got such a tiny hand... and this people just poking all this needle in her - she was screaming in pain and it hurt me so much to put her in this situation. Then followed by antibiotic trial just incase she might be allergic to it - and that was another painful process she must go through... all I can do was just calming her down and making sure she wasn't in too much pain. At some stage her hand was moved while they injected her with the antibiotic - the needle was still in her hand - I swear if it wasn;t for her own well being I probably already beat the crap outta the nurses !! If you are a mother or father, y'all know what I mean...

I make sure she's comfortable and feel safe, so I stayed with her all those time and the next day and night and again...I couldn't leave her side. This is all my faults - I wasn't looking after her properly. In the hospital all she want was just to be close to me and held my hand and ask to be hugs all the time... it break my heart to see her laying there so helplessly. If I could take the pain away and be given to me I will , I will do anything for her.
Most of all though, now she's back at home in my own care and under close supervision and will have to see the paedetrician on Friday this week to make sure all is well. Please pray for her.....
