"And The Angel rose as holy protector for all that was created. She fought with honor and valor to serve the good of the world. But the coming of the mankind was her downfall; and end to purity."
Some examples of the Angel Form are Michael Christian) and Hercules (Greek).
The Angel is associated with the concept of virtue, the number 2, and the element of wind.
Her sign is the zenith sun.
As a member of Form 2, you are a person of your word. You generally keep your promises and give everything you do your best. Although some people see you as overbearing sometimes, you know that you have to stay true to yourself and do what's right. Angels are the best friends to have because they are brutally honest.
Whats up doc ??? Catching up with my twin today!! Awesome fun I say... what did we do ? Well for one we share common idea about meeting place... we both settled for " Station Jakarta Kota - Koje " in Batavia as our meeting point. I guess its not really huge weirdness for "out there" countries but for Batavian friends kinda uncommon, people usually prefer to meet in A cafe , malls, eatting place, etc. But Ndaru and I share the same craziness and uniqueness.... so we decided to catch up in Koje - One of the oldest Train Station in Batavia and all of the building are still in it original form.
Kota Train Station stands as a typical example of modern colonial architecture of the 1930s. It blends in well with the charming backdrop of Kota (the Old City), where historical buildings offer a peek into the city's colonial past. The sturdy construction was once scheduled to be demolished until conservation activists opposed strongly to it. Today, it is designated a national landmark and remains functional. Although often crowded, trains are used by many Indonesians, especially those who need to commute in and out of Jakarta.
I was sitting there in one of the chair that are available after bought a ticket to get in and enjoying the athmosphere there and the people that come and go ... I was looking at all the windows, how it open with its dark dust shadows over it... I was watching the gate where the old man collecting the ticket.... I was watching the high ceiling... I was in trance while I was there... very very incredible feeling and scenes. The surrounding help me imagining what it was like many years ago... when the Dutch was still here and how the people of my country went through all those time... I have no idea how but I can feel it and soak myself in it.
Anyway.. after about 10 minutes waiting Ndaru arrived with his huge smile and child like giggles =p and gave me the warmest greeting of all. His usuall self emerging and I feel like I am home with Ndaru. So we went for a little walk around the station and see couple of corner of the Old station and agree on having coffee in one of the coffee shop there and just talk about nothing at first but then we start to talk like a storms =p and gone crazy from there... we got crazy idea of the day and be spontaneous. What would we do today ? We decided to go to BOGOR , an hour away from Batavia by train !! Just for some lunch =p
Without too much ado, we got the ticket and jump on the train and sit ourself nicely in it. We still crapping on about loads of stuffs !! huhuhuh... well, we are after all buddy of a lifetime, we known eachother for 30 years now =p so of course we are like twin =p *plak Ndaru* - so many stations on our way there and each one has its own story ... both of us were somehow like historians :P as we keep on comparing note while sometime we talk about that " BOSS" seated accross from us who kept on staring at me and my legs =p heiheiehe
Arrived on BOGOR train station which was built on 1881 was so chaos!! It was midday and it was incredible. The station was full of people !! From selling drink to selling souvenirs ... just so ASIA ! My eyes was wide open and enjoying the chaotic moment. The Becaks was struggling to offer us best deal of the ride but Ndaru and I prefer to walk and get some sweat ! I might need the walk more than him , heiheiehe , chubby me! Our destination was the " Kebun Raya Bogor " Botanical Garden of Bogor , located in heart of BOGOR and it contained many thousand type of trees and cactus.. some of it age older then our grandpa ! The Palace of Bogor also located in the middle of the botanical garden. The incredible elegant Palace ... one of our country treasure.
The founder of 's Lands Plantentuin, the name given to the Garden by the Dutch, was Casper Georg Carl Reinwardt, a German who moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and studied natural sciences, specializing in botany and chemistry.
In 1817, at the age of 44, Reinwardt was appointed to the position of Director in agricultural business, arts and sciences on Java and neighboring islands. He was interested in investigating plants which were widely used by the Javanese for domestic and medicinal purposes. Reinwardt decided to gather all these plants in a botanic garden in Bogor, at that time called Buitenzorg (meaning 'Without a Care'). This also provided an opportunity to collect plants and seeds from other parts of the Archipelago and the Botanic Garden would eventually make Bogor a centre for the promotion of agriculture and horticulture in Indonesia.
The Dutch managed the Garden again from 1945 to 1949 when Indonesia gained full independence, took charge of the Garden and renamed it "Kebun Raya" (Great Garden).
Wanna read more ? go to their site !!! Trust me its very interesting!
So, Ndaru and I was sitting on the banks of the lake with The elegant Palace in view... the wind was our friends and the birds was our constant companion. We sat there for awhile and talk .... sometime we didn't say a word ... just enjoying our time away from the city life and work loads! It was our break from stress - our present for hard working weeks. Ndaru's eyes twinkling with ideas or just plain enjoying the moment. My head spinning in awe for this increadibly gorgeous place... You could easely mistaken that you are somewhere in Europe somehow... it was so peaceful...
But ! we couldn't stay much longer as Ndaru has to go back to work at 5 pm - what kinda guy start working at 5 ?? some guys I suppose =p - his field made him working at night...just like myself ! Thats why I told you he is my twin! We have so many things in common. So another train ride to the Old Batavia and once again we are luxuring ourself in this little adventure for the day. It might not be that much for some people but to us it was magical !! Thanks Ndaru.. *hugs*
The afternoon was ended when we say "cherrio" to eachother , I bid him farewell and keep on going toward my home... my brain was still full of ideas and still showering myself on how nice the day was... it was amazing adventure... Ndaru made it possible for me to travel that far... that was the farthest I've ever been since the operation. I was so in debt to Ndaru who able to tell me that it is all possible... Thanks Matey!!
Anyway... that would be enough for now... I shall write again soon. Perhaps this writing will hopefully intrigue some people to come and visit Indonesia in general and all those places I mentioned in particular. We are so rich in cultures and it is up to us to dig it ! Be curious ! =p
Take care yourself.... catch u all soon , pls send my best regards to your family.. and hugs for the little people :) *hugs*
