What I'm about to share with you is not to be interpreted as anti-Allah, but my view of things. I have studied religion for many years and I speak to you as an authoritative voice, not just someone who thinks he understands. In the Quran (which I have read completey) you do not find women mentioned as going to paradise except for those whom the men are allowed to rape for all eternity. I mean to say, that a person who dies for the cause of Allah is told that he gets a whole harem of virgins that he gets to rape for all eternity. Women in Islam are seen as toys for the desire of men, whereas in the New Testament of the Bible (which I strongly recommend you to read) they are seen as fellow laborers and sisters and adopted child of God. Allah is always portrayed as some kind of task master where the Christian faith says he loves us and desires to adopt all who will turn to Him in faith as children. The problem that I see is not your eyebrows, but your religion. I will only say that eternity is a long time to be wrong and so I encourage to uncover all the stone to find out what is really there to find. Please contact IBS "international Bible society" and ask them to send you a free bible. The Gideons will do the same. Sit down and invest in yourself the opportunity to read the New Testament portion of the Bible and see if it inspires you like it has inspired billions before you. Gini... gw dititipin satu lukisan bagus sama temen gw yang merupakan pelukis terkenal. Lukisan itu hasil karya dia sendiri. Sebelom nitipin tuh lukisan, temen gw bilang "eh jeff, gw titip lukisan ini ya ke elo en tolong dijagain baik2 supaya lukisan gw ini keliatan tetep bagus. Seandainya tuh lukisan lama2 jadi keliatan kusem en jelek ya biarin aja... karena gw ngga mau tuh bentuk lukisan berobah... Selama bbrp lama akhirnya tuh lukisan ada di gw en gw pajang di rumah gw. Setelah bbrp tahun, lukisan titipan temen gw itu mulai keliatan kusem en mulai keliatan ngga menarik. Ada bbrp bagian dari cat nya yang rontok... Melihat keadaan tuh lukisan yg keliatan jadi kusem en mulai keliatan jelek karena ada cat2nya yang rontok... timbul pikiran di otak gw... "ahh mending gw rapihin en gw cat dikit2 ah bagian2 tuh lukisan yang cat nya rontok2...". Akhirnya gw rapih2in deh tuh lukisan plus gw cat2 dikit bagian2 cat nya yg udah rontok2... Setelah selesai gw rapihin... gw pajang lagi di dlm rumah gw tuh lukisan... En emang bener... tuh lukisan jadi keliatan menarik lagi setelah gw rapihin. Sampe bbrp tahun kemudian... temen gw itu dateng lagi ke rumah gw untuk minta lukisan dia yg pernah di titipin ke gw... Namanya tuh lukisan emang punya dia en status nya titipan... ya mau ngga mau mesti gw balikin ke dia karena emang dia yg punya tuh lukisan. Nah waktu gw balikin ke temen gw itu... untuk bbrp saat temen gw ngecek tuh lukisan dia yg dititipin ke gw itu... tau2 dia ngeliat bentuk lukisannya yg dititipin dulu ke gw itu udah agak berobah bentuknya... en trus dia nanya ke gw... "kok elo tambah2in cat sih jeff di lukisan gw ini? Kan gw udah bilang... jangan dirobah2 sedikit juga lukisan gw ini?" Trus gw jawab, "Sebenernya sih ngga gw niatin untuk ngerobah tuh lukisan... cuma karena gw liat ada bbrp bagian catnya ada yg rontok... en tuh lukisan jadi keliatan ngga menarik... ya gw tambahin cat aja dikit supaya cat2 yg rontoknya ngga keliatan en lukisan elo tetep keliatan menarik..." Temen gw langsung kecewa en bilang ke gw... "Tau ngga lo? lukisan gw ini menarik en ada nilainya kalo bentuknya masih asli en ngga berobah bentuk walaupun tuh lukisan makin lama makin keliatan kusem en ada cat2nya yang rontok... Apalagi yg ngerobah en nambah2in cat nya itu bukan gw sendiri... tapi elo... Kalo kayak begini, gimana bisa ada nilainya lagi lukisan gw ini?" Gw bingung mau jawab apa ke temen gw yang tampangnya keliatan kecewa en marah ke gw... They murder when they have an upper hand over their victims. They do it out in the open and with the sanction of Allah. They are currently murdering men, women and children all over the world, like Suddan for starters. I remember before we closed up the Al-Quida camps in Afganastan, I saw a public execution that a Muslim was shooting his wife in the back of the head with a rifle as she knelt on the ground praying. It is good you learned something good from Islam, what you learned and what is reality will conflict someday. I am a true friend because I see the danger and attempt to rescue you, you on the other hand have learned to attack such attempts with your renegade assault on my comment and person, justifying it of all things. You still need to read the New Testament regardless of where this debate leads us. To avoid it is to prove that you really haven't learned tolerance like you claimed in your responce to me. I challange you even now to do the friendly thing and investigate the New Testament portion of the Bible. Otherwise, you only speak from one biassed angle and not truely all embrassing as you have made your claim. Do it for your families sake if not for yourself. Surah XXIV (24) Light verse 52 52 Strive against disbelievers with great endeavor. Surah IX (9) Repentance verses 5, 29, 30, 36, 73, 111, 123 5 "Then, when the sacred months have passed, SLAY the idolaters wherever ye find them..." 29 "Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in allah, nor the Last Days..." 30 The Jews claim Ezra is a son and also Jesus is a son of allah says the Christians, but allah fights against them both. 36 "Wage war on all the idolaters as they are waging war on all of you." (this is a continuous action "as they are" and not "when they are" which would indicate spuratic warring) 73 "O prophet! strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them." 111 "...believers...shall fight in the way of allah and shall slay and be slain..." It is a promise which is binding on him in the Torah, Gospels and Quaran. 123 "o ye who believe! fight those of the disbelievers who are near you and let them find harshness in you..." posted by: adi (reply) post date: 01.24.04 (4:49 am) ya wis Yu biarin aja alami, paling kayak yg aku bilang dirapiin pake tangan aja tiap pagi biar tumbuhnya teratur jd kelihatan bagus :-) as for William : Islam taught me to respect my mom three times more than to my dad, yet every mom is a woman, so i don't see things u said abt how Islam taught its believer to treat women as toys.. so i think u have read the whole book, but i also think u have not learn or understand or at least try to understand because u're seeing Islam from only one point of view. so get out of the box, not only to see Islam but also to your religion. perhaps u should live here in Indonesia to actually see that all the differences in religions or races can really live side by side :-) |
